Basement wet room
This small basement wet room is a good example of how to design with square footage maximization in mind. The wall hung toilet saves six inches of space by having its water tank hidden into the wall. The open shower shines by the absence of cumbersome thresholds and the traditional glass door. And the floating vanity adds a few more inches with its slim and sleek look. While the floating storage cabinet, as with the rest of the bathroom elements, makes the room functional and easy to clean.
The wet room floor is uniformed, flushed and sloped. It has been prepared using a mortar bed and a bonded waterproofing membrane. And it also incorporates a radiant system that provides unparalleled comfort and helps drying faster any water splashes. The walls are covered by rectangular ceramic tiles and the floor features a chic porcelain mosaic grouted with epoxy grout.
