The renovation of this master bathroom respects the Victorian style of the house through the tile installation patterns, color and the tile size and type. With the exception of the shower, the bathroom walls are tiled up to waist height with a 3×6” tumbled marble tile, installed in a brick pattern. The subway tile installation is finished with an elaborated border made of a marble listello, rectangular shape mosaics and finished with a bull-nose tile. The bathroom and shower floors are tiled with a 3” hexagonal tile. The tub features a custom wood apron matching the vanity, and both of them are finished with 3/4” marble tops.  The only exception to the traditional design is the new flare of the barrier free shower and the radiant floor which provides comfort and easy access.
