Master bathroom renovation featuring a heated shower floor installation over the Schluter-Ditra-Heat membrane. The homeowners settled for large format tiles and thin grout lines throughout. The new bathroom design eliminated the wall separating the bathtub from the shower. The new tile shower is now put into focus by opening itself onto the room. Its curbless and doorless configuration along with its disguised trench tileable drain, visually stretches out the space. Additional space was also created by replacing the bath podium by a freestanding soaking bath, by a custom recessed shower niche and by using floating storage cabinets.

Finally, the radiant heated floors replaced the old baseboard heater and now facilitate the cleaning of the wet area. All these elements, cleverly styled, is what transforms a utility room into a modern functional bathroom.
