This Montreal bathroom renovation combines the home owner inspirations and our know how in fine custom bathroom building. The owner wanted to create a traditional style using natural stone mosaic as the tile of choice – Even though marble comes with a maintenance consideration, it remains an exquisite tile selection. The renovation included a complete demolition of the old bathroom. The original plumbing was rerouted to relocate the new bathtub, shower and the new wall hung toilet. The electrical was also updated with a new silent exhaust fan and an under floor heated system. We also advised the customer on the use of a central drain, and a doorless and curbless shower for a better used of the space and to contribute to the open concept. All tiled surfaces were waterproofed with Schluter-Systems‘ membranes and treated with a translucent stone impregnator.
