Raised shower base
This classical bathroom design incorporates a system of uncoupling and waterproofing membranes to accommodate a sleek, curbless and raised shower base. The absence of the traditional bulky shower step, combined with the extra clear glass enclosure makes the raised shower base standout with elegance and refinement. From a piratical consideration, the elimination of corners and unnecessary structures also greatly helps with the daily cleaning and maintenance. The shower floor was raised by 1.5” to accommodate a seamless floor transition between the bathroom and hardwood bedroom floors. The classic white ceramic tiles on the walls are complemented by an insert of subway size marble tiles, mosaics and a niche. And the bathroom floor features a large size 12×24″ porcelain, installed in a brick pattern – comfortably standing on top of a heated electrical radiant system.
